Encouraging Words

encouraging wordsAre you weary today? Could you use some encouragement? Here’s what the Word of God says:

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

“A bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench.” (Isaiah 42:3)

“Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.” (Psalm 33:20-21)

“From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.” (Isaiah 64:4)

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23)

Take heart, child of God. He is with you. You are His, and He is acting on your behalf. Hold on to hope because He is faithful.
