Your Dwelling Place

“The eternal God is your dDeuteronomy 33:27welling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms” (Deuteronomy 33:27).

What a promise!

The eternal God is your dwelling place. This is not some frail, weak, tepid, anemic, impotent god. This is the eternal God. Not the god of this world, but the God of all worlds. Eternal. No beginning and no end. From everlasting to everlasting, He reigns. That’s the God who is your dwelling place. Do you need a shelter from the storm? The eternal God is that shelter. Do you need a strong fortress against the enemy? Again, the eternal God. He is your dwelling place.

And underneath are the everlasting arms. No matter how far we fall, no matter how low we may feel, underneath are the everlasting arms. Corrie ten Boom said, “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.”

Rest in His strength and His love today. “The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
